Reevaluating the Glorification of Gamification for Unexpected Outcomes in English Language Teaching

Artikel konseptual ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi kembali glorifikasi atau pemulian gamifikasi yang mengarah pada penyesatan dan miskonsepsi penggunaan gamifikasi dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris. Narasi itu membuat penerapan strategi gamifikasi mengarah pada hasil yang tidak terduga. Kondisi ini harus disikapi dan dievaluasi kembali. Untuk mengevaluasi kembali glorifikasi tersebut, penulis membangun beberapa argumen yang didukung oleh sumber atau studi tertulis dan lisan yang relevan. Temuan menunjukkan bahwa kesiapan pelaku pendidikan terhadap strategi gamifikasi merupakan masalah terbesar yang dihadapi oleh mereka dan tuntutan masyarakat dan konstruksi sosial melihat gamifikasi juga menimbulkan stigma dimana mereka harus menerapkan strategi pembelajaran gamifikasi apapun yang terjadi. Oleh karena itu, para pelaku pendidikan perlu bijak dan paham dalam menerapkan dan mengagungkan strategi gamifikasi dalam pengajaran bahasa Inggris.Referensi
