Penyimpangan Prinsip Kesopanan pada Wacana Delik Pencemaran Nama Baik Status Facebook: Kajian Sosiopragmatik

Abstract

Kasus pencemaran nama baik melalui media sosial semakin mengerikan. Hal tersebut terbukti dengan banyaknya kasus pencemaran nama baik di media sosial yang telah diungkap pihak berwenang. Studi ini bertujuan menggali bentuk-bentuk penyimpangan maksim-maksim kesopanan pada status facebook yang bermuatan delik pencemaran nama baik. Metode studi ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Data dalam studi ini berupa ungkapan-ungkapan pada status facebook yang bermuatan delik pencemaran nama baik dan bermuatan menyimpang dari maksim-maksim kesopanan. Sumber data dalam studi ini adalah status facebook yang bermuatan delik pencemaran nama baik tahun 2016-2017. Pengumpulan data dalam studi ini menggunakan metode dokumentasi dan catat. Analisis data dalam studi ini menggunakan metode padan ekstralingual dan diperkuat dengan teknik analisis kesantunan Leech. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan penyimpangan maksim-maksim kesopanan meliputi: penyimpangan maksim pujian; penyimpangan maksim kesimpatian; dan peyimpangan maksim kesepakatan. Penyimpangan maksim-maksim tersebut menjadi faktor yang menyebabkan seseorang penutur mencemarkan nama baik orang lain. Warganet dalam bertutur di media sosial seperti status facebook hendaknya menggunakan bahasa yang santun supaya terhindar dari jerat hukum seperti pencemaran nama baik, ujaran kebencian, dan hoax.
